Man Arrested On Three Outstanding Warrants

Among the recent arrests made by local law enforcement officers was one of a man who is charged with domestic assault and phone harassment.

• Ignacio Portillo Hernandez, 1690 Simpson Rd., Bradyville, was arrested on April 21 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Moss on outstanding warrants charging him with domestic assault, phone harassment and violating an order of protection. The arrest stems from incidents which allegedly occurred on Dec. 4, 2010. Total bond was set at $15,500. Initial court date is May 3.

• Brandi Nicole Banks, 101 Laurel St., Woodbury, was charged with possession of a Legend drug without a valid prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia by Sgt. John Howse of the Woodbury Police Dept. on April 15. Release citations were issued. Initial court date is May 10.

• Eric Bertain, Highway 55, Woodbury, was charged with identity theft on April 18 by Woodbury Police Chief Tony Burnett. Bertain was found to be using a social security card for employment purposes that he knew did not belong to him. Bertain is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday and is being held per the request of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

• Tylor Blake Fults, 39 Sunny Ct., Manchester, was taken into custody by the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept. on April 18 on a charge of failure to appear. Fults is being held without bond. Initial court date is May 10.

• Larry Hutchins, 2872 Red Hill Rd., Morrison, was served an arrest warrant on April 19 for passing a worthless check by the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept. He posted a cash bond of $370.51 and is scheduled to appear in court on May 24.

• Teresa Darda, 4822 Hollow Springs Rd., Bradyville, was served an arrest warrant on April 20 by the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept. for passing a worthless check. She posted a cash bond of $359.

• Billy Joe George was served an arrest warrant for violation of probation on April 13 in the booking room of the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept.

• Torie McBratnie was served an arrest warrant on April 13 for failure to appear in the booking room of the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept.

• Dustin Mayo was served an arrest warrant for violation of probation on April 13 in the booking room of the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept.
