Sarah and Katie Hickman each won their singles matches but it wasn’t enough as Warren County took a 5-2 win against the Lionettes in non-district tennis action.

The Lions dropped a 7-0 decision against Warren County.

Sarah Hickman defeated Peyton Baker 8-6 at No. 2 singles and Katie Hickman knocked off Tomomi Yago 8-6 at No. 3 singles for Cannon County’s only singles points.

Jordan Hollis suffered an 8-3 setback to Susie Brown at No. 1 singles. Camille Gilley and Kristen McReynolds fell short at No. 4 and 5 singles, respectively.

Hollis and Katie Hickman suffered an 8-5 setback at No. 1 doubles.

Cole Kaney suffered an 8-4 setback at No. 1 singles. Jeffery Northcutt fell 8-6 at No. 3 singles and Jacob Barnes fell 8-4 at No. 4. Daxton Patrick and Jude Kaney suffered setbacks at No. 2 and 5.
