Letter: HS wins praise for sportsmanship

As a parent of a HS girl player at Signal Mountain, I want to commend Lionettes Head Coach Michael Dodgen, his players, fans, administration, teachers and your student section on an exemplary example of sportsmanship!
It is sorely lacking in our district and you guys set the the bar high where it needs to be. You can tell you guys have been there before and know how to act.
Loved the acappella Star Spangled Banner and 1/2 time entertainment and your fans who PACKED the gym.
Your girls picked up our players if they were on the floor before our girls could get to them. You called off the press and pulled your studs instead of padding their stats once the game was out the reach. Class act cudo's to you and your school and the way you and everyone else in that gym represents your community!
