NOTICE FROM CANNON COUNTY SCHOOLS

The Special Education Department is in the process of purging the records of former students who received special education services in school and turn 25 years old this year. If you would like to pick up your records, please come to the Cannon County Board of Education by Friday, July 23, 2010. If you do not pick up your records by that date, they will be destroyed.

You may pick up your records from anytime Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID

Sealed bids for the Secure Vestibules at West Side Elementary School will be received until 2:00 P.M. local times on August 5, 2010 at Cannon County Board of Education, 301 West Main Street, Woodbury, TN 37190 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting July 27, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the West Side Elementary School, 3714 Murfreesboro Road, Readyville, TN 37149.

NOTICE OF HOME SCHOOL

Any parents/legal guardians who intend to conduct an Independent Home School, grades K-12, or a Church-Related Home School, grades K-12, for their own children, during the 2010-2011 School Year must notify their local public school director’s office by August 1, 2010. This requirement applies to previous home school parents and new ones alike.
Home School Registration forms for the 2010-2011 School Year are available at the Cannon County School Director’s office, and upon completion, should be returned to the Director of School’s office by August 1, 2010 at 301 West Main Street, Woodbury, TN 37190.

Any parent/legal guardian wishing to conduct a Home School for grades K-12 must provide 1) proof of legal custody or guardianship by a copy of child’s birth certificate or court order, and 2) copy of a high school diploma or GED for grades K-8 and BA degree for grades K-12.

NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE
Default having been made by failure to comply with the terms and conditions of a certain promissory note from WILLIAM KENNETH RITSCH, JR. to Regions Bank and assigned to Tommy Glenn Wilson dated May 4, 2006 and secured by a Deed of Trust dated and filed for record on May 26, 2006 in Record Book 86, Page 529 and an Assignment was executed from Regions Bank to Tommy Glenn Wilson by instrument dated January 11, 2010 and recorded on February 27, 2010 in Record Book 124, Page 794 with a Substitute Trustee’s Deed in Record Book 126, Page 736 in the Register’s Office for Cannon County, Tennessee, wherein the property therein described was conveyed to Dale W. NOTICE OF PROPERTY FOR SALE
The property is being offered for sale to those individuals whom the Farm Service Agency (FSA) considers qualified beginning and/or socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers, and all prevailing claimants in the civil action Pigford vs. Vilsack.  Prevailing claimants who are qualified beginning and/or socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers will be given first priority consideration in the purchase of this property.
