Guests of Woody and Sheree Floyd and Violet Smith at Fairfield for lunch on Saturday were Angela Corley and children Valyn and Dalton Corley, Leigh Skillington from Lynville, Scott and Jen Hennessee and daughter Avery Hennessee from Lebanon, Jessica Hennessee and fiancee Doug from Murfreesboro, Steve, Jan and Cole Carmichael from Murfreesboro. This was their Thanksgiving get-to-gather.

Earling Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Alford and son Cody had lunch at DJ’s in Woodbury on Sunday.

Eugene and Joan Sissom spent the Thanksgiving holidays with his son, Kenny Sissom and wife in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ben and Elizabeth Hartsfield, Mr. and Mrs. Mance Davis and children and Annie Davis had Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Mance Davis Sr. along with other relatives and friends.

Barbara and Hugh Bob Bailey spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday with her sister and brother-in-law, Jack and Jane Vickers in Huntsville, Alabama.

Get well wishes to all the sick in this community.

There’s no better exercise for the heart than reachingdown and lifting someone up.

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused.
