The Ivy Bluff Homecoming singing was held at the Woodland School the first Sunday of May. A large crowd attended. They enjoyed lots of food and singing. This is an annual event.

Terry Stacey from New Jersey, Jim Stacey from Murfreesboro, Don and Charlotte Frazine from Tullahoma and Bonnie Stacy had lunch at the Cracker Barrel in Manchester on Friday. Then they took a tour of Beech Craft Heritage Museum in Tullahoma. Anyone interested in airplanes would enjoy the tour.

Robin Bynum is in Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. She was critically injured in an automobile accident last week. She’s the daughter of Lloyd Mears of Hillsboro. Lloyd grew up and went to school in Cannon County.

Barbara and Hugh Bob Bailey spent the weekend in Huntsville, Alabama with her sister and brother-in-law, Jack and Jane Vickers.

Ben and Elizabeth Hartsfield went shopping in Murfreesboro on Monday.


Peace is seeing a sunset and knowing who to thank.

Water and weed the garden, but remember to smell the flowers too.

Promise only what you can deliver then deliver more than you promised.

Jumping to conclusions is not half as wise as digging for facts.
