Holder Faces Kidnapping, Domestic Violence Charges

A Lewisburg man is scheduled to appear in Cannon County General Sessions Court on Jan. 3 in regard to a variety of charges filed against him on Nov. 28.

George Michael Holder, 2140 Collier Rd., Lewisburg, was charged on that date by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney with Kidnapping, Making a False Report and Driving on a Suspended License.

Holder was also charged in a warrant with Domestic Assault.

Holder allegedly took possession of an infant without the consent of the legal guardian. He stated he had full custody of the minor child, but when an investigation was conducted Hoover’s statement was found to be false.

Bond was set at $30,000.
