Rebecca Ann Gilley and Matthew Allen Alexander were married June 30, 2012 at the home of the bride's parents, Stones River Farms in Woodbury, Tennessee, in an evening country-themed wedding.  Brother Herb Alsup officiated the ceremony.  It had to be the hottest wedding in history!  (105 degrees)

The bride is the daughter of Kenny and Debbie Gilley of Woodbury.  Her grandparents are Jennie Foster and the late Doris Foster of Woodbury, and Hal and Lois Larimer of Woodbury, and the late Paul Gilley of Woodbury.

The bride was escorted by her father.  She wore a long off-white strapless asymmetrical mermaid gown by Justin Alexander with delicately beaded appliqus of lace which were scattered along the elongated bodice.  The bubble tier skirt had scalloped beaded lace trim and flowed into a Chapel length train.  The bride's bouquet was made of green hydrangeas.

The bridesmaids wore short green dresses with cowboy boots.  They carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas.  The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Katie Gilley.  The matron of honor was the bride's sister, Korie Aycock.  The bridesmaids were Kaila Klingler, Brooke Weaver, and Claire Brewer, all life-long friends of the bride, Ashley Basham, sister of the groom, and Jessica Alexander, sister-in-law of the groom.  The bride and her father arrived to the ceremony in a horse and buggy driven by David Preston.

The groom and best man wore white dress shirts and khakis with green ties that matched the bridesmaids dresses.  The best man was Brian Jones, best friend of the groom.  The groomsmen were Dan Alexander, brother of the groom, Alex Wallace, cousin of the groom, Alan Burger, Steven Champion, Jeff Thomas, and Sundance Lawrence, all friends of the groom.

Delaney Aycock, niece of the bride, and Abi Alexander, niece of the groom served as flower girls.  Miles Alexander, nephew of the groom, held a sign reading "Uncle Matt, here comes your girl!"  The wedding coordinators were Norma Knox and Jackie Preston.  The guest-register attendants were Sarah Alexander, sister of the groom, and Victoria and Emily Beaty, cousins of the bride.  Ushers for the ceremony were Will Aycock, brother-in-law of the bride, and Hunter and Luke Blanton, nephews of the bride.

A reception was held after the ceremony at the Farm.  Guests dined on a country meal of pulled pork, pinto beans, potatoes, and turnip greens with catering provided by Christie Q BBQ.  The wedding cake and groom's cake and desserts of blackberry cobbler and banana pudding was provided by Rebecca Merritt.  Entertainment was provided by the Gilley Brothers Band.  A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held at the Woodbury Church of Christ with catering by Steve and Debbie Wallace and Barbara Wallace.  After a honeymoon on the Big Island of Hawaii, the couple will reside in Woodbury, Tennessee.
