Four Charged With Violating Probation

Four individuals were recently served warrants charging them with violating one or more conditions of their probation.

• David Bradford Young, 218 Murfreesboro Rd., Woodbury, was served a Violation of Community Corrections warrant on April 16. Young was convicted of Initiation of the Process to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Manufacture of Marijuana over 20 plants in Cannon County Circuit Court on Oct. 6, 2011. He received a suspended sentence and was placed on Community Corrections for 12 years. Young allegedly violated probation by failing a drug screen on March 8, testing positive for Hydrocodone, Oxycodone and Oxymorphine. He also signed a voluntary admission on March 8 admitting to taking a Percocet on March 7 and March 8 for tooth pain but does not having a prescription for the medication. Bond was set at $40,000. He is to appear in Circuit Court on May 24.

• Crystal L. Brannam, 606 Knight Rd., McMinnville, was served a Violation of Community Corrections warrant on April 20. Brannam was convicted of Initiation of the Process to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Driving While License Suspended/Cancelled/Revoked onJan. 14, 2011. She was placed on Community Corrections for 4 years. She has allegedly violated probation by failing to notify her probation officer of changes of residence, failing to make herself available for drug testing, failing to pay fines and costs as directed, failing to be at home for random visits, and failing to provide proof of completion of community service work. Bond was set at $25,000. Her court appearance date is set for May 24.

• Brittany Nicole Ketye, 74 Maple Dr., Beechgrove, was served a warrant for Violation of Probation on May 5. Keyte was convicted of Driving While License Suspended 1st Offense on Dec. 7, 2010. Following her first revocation she was placed on probation until March 14, 2012. She has allegedly violated probation by not reporting to her probation officer, not being available for random drug screens, not paying fines, costs and fees and not receiving alcohol and drug rehabilitation as directed. Bond was set at $10,000. Initial court date is June 5.

• George Michael Holder, 2140 Collier Rd., Lewisbury, was served a Violation of Probation warrant on May 9. Holder was convicted of Perjury, Domestic Assault and Driving While License Suspended 1st Offense on Feb. 7, 2012 and was placed on probation until Feb. 6, 2013. He has allegedly violated probation by failing to abstain from illegal drug use (testing positive for marijuana and amphetamines on April 4), failing to pay costs, fines and fees as directed and failing to complete a Domestic Violence Inventory assessment. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is July 31.
