On Saturday, May 28, an English Tea Party was held at Morning Glory Hill in Woodbury, home of Bill and Faithe Cook.

The attendees were Pam Harris of Smyrna TN, Debbie Perrault of Crossville TN, Monica Kennedy of Smyrna TN, Reba Newberry of Murfreesboro TN, Vicki O'Guin of Clarksville TN and Ann Sensenstein of Woodbury TN.

The ladies donned cotton gloves and handkerchiefs, a lot of which items were purchased from the Cannon County Outreach and Thrift Store in Woodbury. After appetizers and cucumber sandwiches and honey goat cheese spread, the guests feasted on hot chicken salad over chow mein noodles, potato salad, layered salad, and a red, white and blue frozen salad commemorating Memorial Day. Dessert was a choice from a variety of cheese cakes and German Chocolate cake (to honor three attendees of German heritage).

After lunch, everyone descended to downtown Woodbury for some shopping.
