Commission Almost Done With Expenditures. Meets Again Tonight

After Thursday night's two hour meeting, there's now just four departments that need to be issued their expenditures for the 2019-2020 fiscal year which is already in progress. Last night the Cannon County Commission picked up their recessed meeting on night three of four and approved eight more department's budget including money to fund the Veterans Service Office thus making it certified. The Commission will go at it again tonight to see if they can come to an agreement on funding the Sheriff's Office and Jail, Ambulance service, General Debt Service Fund and Education Debt Service. The meeting starts at 5:30 in the courtroom of the Cannon County Courthouse.
