Cannon County Receives Firefighters Grant

Faye Morse, Cannon County Emergency Management Director and Chief of the Cannon County Volunteer Fire Department has been notified by Senator Lamar Alexander that the 2009 Assistance to Firefighters Grant for Operations and Safety has been awarded to Cannon County in the amount of $136,040.

Mrs. Morse submitted an application for this grant for the Cannon County Fire Departments on May 20, 2009. It is for Personal Protective Equipment and Training.
