The Woodbury Lions Club is preparing for the COATS FOR CANNON and expanding it. Coats can be picked up at the Lions Club Building on Friday Nov. 10 from 4:00pm until 7:30pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm. Coats are now being collected at Sue Patrick CPA's office at 109 Lester Street, Woodbury. Phone 615 563-1328 if you have questions. Gloves, scarves, hats, and socks are being accepted. Anyone wishing to make a donation can leave these at Sue's office. This is an example of how the Lions Club Serves the Community. Please help. The coats can be used or new. Other items should be new. Cash donations and clothing items are now being accepted.

The American Legion Post 279 in Woodbury is selling flags and accessories. The monies raised from the sale of these flags goes 100% back to our Community, our Youth and our Veterans, in Cannon County. We have available an assortment of all sizes and all types of flags - United States Flags, State Flags, Military Service Flags; and all sizes of flag poles. The United States Flag 3'x 5' nylon is $25. The United States Flag 4"x 6" is .50 each or $5 a dozen The military services/branches flags are $30 each. We can get you any State Flag, different size flags and different size flag poles, including indoor sets. Guided tours of the mansion with our mourners are available from October 15 till 31, 2017, Tuesday - Saturday 10:00AM - 4:00PM and Sundays 1:00PM- 4:00 p.m., with the last tour beginning at 3pm.
