She fought the cancer battle and lost but Elaine Jones Mingle won the ultimate victory when she entered Heaven's gates around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday the 19th. Our prayers go out to her loving family and friends.
Get well wishes to Ray Murphy who is currently in St. Thomas Rutherford following a major stroke. He underwent surgery to help relieve the symptoms.
Congratulations to Dillon Jackson who is now a certified welder having received his recognition from Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville.
Doug Gaither of Davenport, IA, spent several days recently visiting with mom, Sara Gaither and other family members.
Our grandson, Kullon Patrick, spent the night Thursday with us. He attended the Knights vs. Cubs ballgame so he could see "Nu-I" (aka Adrianna Reed) play ball!
Twenty-four students of the Auburn Grammar Art Club enjoyed a trip to Bell Buckle Tuesday. They met several artists and toured the Webb School. This was a joint effort with the Westside group.
Enjoying another birthday this week are Robin Yule Burkhead on the 25th, Joshua Bryson the 26th, Jan Dobson and Lindsay Gunter the 27th, Jason Francis and Irene Rich on the 28th, David Dodd and Melissa Milligan on the 29th with Chris Zimmer, Dan Wilkerson, Joseph Mason McFerrin and Ryan Fletcher ending the month of November. Opening up the last month of 2014 are Fred Schafer and Dale Mayo. Happy birthday to all of you.
There are no anniversaries so with Thanksgiving being this Thursday, be sure and be thankful. There is something each person can be thankful for. Here is a quote I've read, "feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it". God is our Giver, thank Him for ALL things.
