He was a kind hearted, true gentle man with nothing bad to say about anyone - Bobby Jack Armstrong is now walking, dancing or maybe running on the streets of gold. He went home to eternal life Monday, September 30th following major surgery. Bobby Jack was loved by all who knew him and a true friend to any one he knew.
It was a beautiful fall night which made for a great Harvest Festival fundraiser and King and Queen Coronation. Thanks to everyone who made this one of the greatest fundraisers.
Betty and Terry Thomas left out Wednesday morning to meet so, Patrick, and travel to Ashville, NC where they will enjoy a horse show and do some trail riding at the Biltmore Estate. They returned home Saturday.
Mission Friends and Girls in Action of Auburn Baptist Church visited Woodbury Nursing Center residents Sunday. They received a joyful "welcome" by everyone.
A good crowd attended Prosperity Baptist Church Sunday night for their 5th Sunday night singing. Not only did we have Angelina McKeithen, we also enjoyed hearing Joe Turner, Daniel Seber, Michael Young, Jennifer Buterbaugh and Bonnie Rigsby praise God in song.
Donna Nichols, Jody Dickey, Ruby Reed Anderson, Debbie Whited, Rachel Hale and Madison Gaither begin our birthday wishes this week when they celebrate the 9th. Cole Turney and Robert Fletcher have theirs the next day. The 11th sees twins Derrick and Eric Hughes celebrate. Cliff Burkhead adds another year on the 12th. The 13th belongs to Lynn O'Neal and Kevin Sheerer. Finishing up this week's wishes is Tonya Davenport on the 15th. Happy birthday to all of you.
