I, Andy Duggin, am throwing my hat in for the Woodbury Mayor's Race!

For many who know me, I am sure you, like my wife Frances, wonders why run for mayor? What does Andy Duggin have to offer the citizens of Woodbury as well as those traveling through our wonderful town?

"My whys are simple", Duggin explains.

First, I have an investment in Woodbury, Tennessee ... they are my four children and three grandchildren. I truly enjoy and am proud of Woodbury and of being a resident of Woodbury and Cannon County. I want to continue to see it grow and be a productive community in a fashion that will preserve 'small town USA' while offering my children and grandchildren a secure future.

Second, as I consider myself beyond blessed, having the pleasure of working and learning side by side with the late Bill Smith on so many community activities and projects. One could create a list of community projects Bill and I participated in over the years if they took a mind too; but the knowledge, experience and communication skills absorbed from all of those projects are limitless. I feel it's time to put all of this, I was fortunate enough to gain, to work and give back to my community.

One may wonder how I plan on helping Woodbury as their Mayor. First and foremost, I encourage all to communicate with me, Andy Duggin. I have learned to not only just listen but 'hear' residents as they voice their concerns and ideas about their home town. Besides being apart of community and schools projects, I also served a term for the Election Commission.

I believe to bring more and continued success to Woodbury, one must stay involved with community and 'put your hands on it' to invite success. As my mother and father (Bud Duggin) always believed, 'to put your hands on it' means one is working toward a positive outcome and not sitting idle waiting on success to take place.

I, Andy Duggin, am ready to go to work for your family and mine!

I, Andy Duggin, am ready to acknowledge the needs of Woodbury and work toward reaching goals we set as a community.

I, Andy Duggin, am ready to hear the residents of Woodbury and join forces with you to bring continued success to our unique place we call home.

I, Andy Duggin, am asking for your confidence, support and trust by voting ANDY DUGGIN MAYOR on November 8 2016.

I, Andy Duggin, thank you in advance for your support.
