LIBRARY NEWS RELEASE, 2-2-2012

We are planning ahead for spring at the library!  You can mark your calendars ahead for the workshop given by the Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association in the meeting room of the Adams Memorial Library at 1 p.m. on April 4th.  This is going to be an informative workshop for anyone with questions about this troubling health issue.

The popular Tennessee Career Coach will again be visiting the Adams Memorial Library on April 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  There is no charge for their services and no appointment is necessary.  Let them help you modernize your resume, hunt for jobs and give you interview skill tips.  Also, just come by to see this interesting vehicle paid for by your tax dollars.

Speaking of good use of tax dollars... please do take a look at the Tennessee Electronic Library online at www.tntel.info.  This is a huge resource available to Tennessee residents free of charge.  You can search for your ancestors, look for jobs, read Tennessee newspapers, get health information, use the World Book Encyclopedia, and so much more.  It is really like having a big city library resource room at your fingertips.  Remember if you don’t have Internet access at home, you can use the free public access computers at the library outlet near you.  Parents, please remember to turn to this resource for homework help, too, when your children need to find information for reports and projects.
