Many people who live and work in Cannon County consider the cafeteria at Stones River Hospital to be a hidden treasure when it comes to lunchtime dining.

Hospital employees and visitors alike have had to go to other fine eateries in Cannon County this week as the cafeteria has been closed for remodeling.

Workers have been installing new tiles and painting the walls.

The cafeteria is scheduled to reopened to diners on Monday. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
