Woodbury Nursing Center to celebrate

Long–term care communities across Tennessee, including Woodbury Nursing Center, are planning events in honor of National Nursing Home Week, which began on Mother’s Day May 12, and continues through May 18th.

In celebration of National Nursing Home Week, there are many events scheduled at Woodbury Nursing Center.

The 2013 National Nursing Home Week Theme, “Team Care: Everyone Pitches In, “ recognizes the team effort and dedication required to provide quality care to the elderly and disabled. “ Providing round- the - clock , quality care truly is a team effort,” said Russell Caughron administrator at Woodbury Nursing Center. “National Nursing Home Week is an excellent time to recognize all of the members of the team – caregivers, volunteers, family members and the residents – for what they do to make sure we are providing the highest quality of care possible.”

National Nursing home Week is an annual event celebration the quality care provided by the nation long – term care facilities. It is sponsored by the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the Tennessee Health Association (THCA), a nonprofit organization whose members include long-term facilities located throughout the state. Woodbury Nursing Center is a 102 –bed member facility located in Woodbury, TN.
