Woodbury Day School a gem
Tuesday, September 16, 2014 12:08 pm by Amy Lawrence Located at the lower level of the Woodbury Church of Christ, classes are offered for ages 2-4. The student to teacher ratio is small enough that your child will be engaged throughout the day. The Day School represents family, learning, love, and God. Children will be prepared for grade school while also gaining a foundation of Bible knowledge. The entire school meets every morning for a devotional lead by the schools "Bible teacher" Mrs. Sue Darby, who's storytelling ability is yet another hidden jewel they have to offer. The Day School prides itself on being family friendly and encourages parents to visit their children. They also provide special days such as Grandparents Day, Donuts with Dads, Muffins with Mom's, Dress Up Day, A Day at the Farm, and a pumpkin patch field trip to encourage fellowship and fun with the families and their children. n a society where education and God are no longer mixed, the day school is a breath of fresh air and another hidden gem our sweet town has to offer. What better way to start your child's educational journey than with one that includes God. Please contact the school's director Becky Vassar at 615-563-5119 for more information on enrolling your child.
