Cannon County Sheriff's Deputy Steve McMillen responded to 10888 Gassway Rd. on May 14 to take a report of the theft of a vehicle.

Upon arrival he spoke with Shiney Gibbs, who stated she had parked her 2000 Nissan Maxima 352 ZNC, black in color, at her front door the night before at around 10 p.m.

Gibbs said she noticed the Maxima was missing at 6 a.m. the next day.

Gibbs advised Deputy McMillen there was not a lean on the vehicle. She said whoever drove the vehicle must have driven it around the outside of the house.

The vehicle had full insurance coverage and was valued at $4,000, Gibbs said.

After taking the report, Deputy McMillen advised Cannon County Dispatch to issue a BOLO to surrounding counties and enter the information into NCIC.
