Multiple Charges

Brittany Elizabeth Jernigan of Bradyville was arrested by the Cannon County Sheriff's Office on multiple charges following an incident on Odell Powell Road. Jernigan was charged with two counts of simple assault, burglary/breaking and entering and vandalism of property. A hearing is set for Dec. 29 in General Sessions Court.

Drug Charges

Donald Howard Stafford of Manchester was charged with simple possession of marijuana as part of a road block conducted by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Woodbury Police and Cannon County Sheriff's Office. A computer check revealed that Stafford was driving on a suspended license. A hearing was set for Dec. 1 in General Sessions Court.

Burglary Reported

A Coolster four-wheeler was taken during a burglary on Short Mountain Road. The vehicle was valued at $861.

Dirt Bike Stolen

A red and white Honda 250R dirt bike was stolen from a residence on Porterfield Road.

Burglary Reported

An electric trimmer, a Budweiser neon sign and a Coca-Cola folding table were stolen from a residence in Auburntown. The missing items were valued at $800.

Domestic Assault

Tony Waters of Burt Burgen Road was charged with domestic assault following an incident.

Stolen Chainsaw

A Stihl MS 290 chainsaw was stolen from a home on Boney Ridge Road.

Car Crash

Deputy Michael Agee was dispatched to the intersection of Petty Gap and Burt Road following a single car crash. The motorist, Tasha L. Evans, was charged with DUI following the incident. A hearing is set for Jan. 5 in General Sessions Court.

Leaving the Scene
of an Accident

Andrew F. Graves of Dickson, Tn was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and with driving on a revoked after a wrecked Cadillac was found abandoned on Lassiter Road.

Animals at Large

Todd Andrew Baxter of Jimtown Road was charged with allowing livestock to run at large. A hearing is set for Jan. 5 in General Sessions Court.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Cindy Armstrong Sherrell was charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia including syringes and a cut straw. She was arrested by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for Dec. 8 in General Sessions Court.

DUI

Tina Marie Creighton was charged with DUI, first offense, by Patrolman Jimmy Hayes. A hearing is set for Jan. 12 in General Sessions Court.

Edward Van Epps II was charged with driving on a suspended license by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for Dec. 15 in General Sessions Court.
