Winona Rhea Parker Rains

Services for Winona Rhea Parker Rains are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Burial will follow at the Rains Family Farm.

 Visitation was Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

 Mrs. Rains, 51, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at Stones River Hospital’s emergency room. Winona was a member of the Church of Christ, a homemaker and had worked at the Shirt Factories. She was a Cannon County native.

 Survivors include her husband, Randy Rains of Woodbury, her mother, Dorothy Merriman Parker of Woodbury; her children, Brian Hollis and Amanda Rhea Hollis, both of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Olivia LeFevers and Lindsey Couch, both of Woodbury; siblings, Marilyn Romero, Johnny Parker, Norma Parker and Tammy Barrett, all of Woodbury, and Debora (Gary) Bryant of Manchester; and stepchildren, Miranda Vinson of Rock Island and Zachary Barrett of Woodbury.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Thurston Parker and brother, Ronnie Parker.
