...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 10 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
  outside of thunderstorms.

* WHERE...Portions of Middle Tennessee.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM CST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.


This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a risk for strong to isolated severe thunderstorms across
Middle TN today. Damaging wind gusts are the most likely hazard but
a tornado or two cannot be ruled out, along with heavy rainfall.

Outside of thunderstorms, strong southerly winds of 15 to 25 mph and
gusts up to around 45 mph will be possible this morning through the
mid afternoon across the area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Showers and thunderstorms before 3pm, then a chance of showers. Temperature falling to around 51 by 5pm. Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

A 20 percent chance of showers before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. North wind around 10 mph.
