A workman smooths the surface of a concrete sidewalk near the west entrance to the Cannon County Courthouse after it was poured Thursday.

Thursday was a busy day around the Cannon County Courthouse. Work crews poured concrete sidewalks around the courthouse as progress continued on the revitalization project.

Officials hope to have the work completed sometime in May or early June.
