What do you like to read?
Tuesday, August 20, 2013 12:21 pm Got a question for you. What do you like to read or see in the Cannon Courier? We've already got a pretty good idea of what you DON'T like to read in your hometown newspaper. But that’s beside the point. We’ve got lots of plans for the rest of the year and even into 2014, but we are always open to suggestions. We know you love sports, the more the better, and there is a desire for police news as well. What we are looking for are ideas about different people, events and places. Quite often this type of story is everyday life to you or your friends and family, but it is “news” to everyone else. Examples? Say your uncle who lives in Bradyville has a collection of hundreds or thousands of pocketknifes. Or maybe your aunt is known for her fabulous cakes? Or what about your neighbor’s dog that rides everywhere on the top of a truck? Heck, you may have a brother or coworker who’s known for his crazy sense of humor or maybe his singing ability? But we can’t bring these unique stories to life unless we know about them!
