Two of the defendants in Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday, April 5 pled guilty to joyriding and will spend a year in the Cannon County Jail.

• Ronnie Eugene Gilley pled guilty to charges of joyriding, domestic assault and assault. He was sentenced to serve 11 months, 29 days in the Cannon County Jail on each charge, to run concurrent. He was ordered to serve his entire sentence on each count.

• Patrick Justin McCullough pled guilty to charges of joyriding and DUI third offense. On each charge he was sentenced to serve 11 months, 29 days in the county jail and ordered to serve them in their entirety. They will run concurrent.

Also in court Tuesday:

• Jackie J. Cox pled guilty to a charge of public intoxication. She was given a 30-day suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50 and ordered to pay court costs.

• Robert W. Griffin pled guilty to a charge of reckless endangerment. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and ordered to serve five days in the county jail. He was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days, fined $350, ordered to pay court costs, and must attend an alcohol and drug school.

• Roy A. Haley pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve his original sentence, with credit for 104 days served.

• Michael Shane Hoover pled guilty to DUI 2nd Offense. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and ordered to serve 75 days in the county jail. He was also fined $600 and ordered to pay court costs. He will also lose his license for two years. Hoover also pled guilty to driving on a revoked license. He was given a six month partially suspended sentence, ordered to serve 48 hours in jail, pay a $50 fine and court costs, and will lose his license for one year. His sentences are to run concurrent.

• Pamela Diane Lafever pled guilty to a charge of theft under $500. She was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and ordered to serve 21 days in the county jail, with credit given for 21 days served. She was also ordered to pay court costs and restitution. She was released and transported to the Rutherford County where she is facing other charges.

• Eddie S. Markum pled guilty to driving on a revoked license, first offense. He was given a partially suspended sentence of six months in the county jail and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was also ordered to serve 48 hours in jail, pay a $50 fine and court costs, and will lose his license for one year.

• Jeremy Russell Powers pled guilty to a charge of theft under $500. He was sentenced to serve six months in the county jail in its entirety.

• Janice Diana Somers pled guilty to driving on a revoked license. She was given a six month suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50 and order to pay court costs. She was also fined $100 for violation of the financial responsibility law.

• Joey L. Mooneyham forfeited a cash bond on a worthless check charge and the case was dismissed.

• Ernest Shane Bogle had charges of criminal impersonation and unlawful possession of blue lights dismissed without cost. He was ordered to forfeit the blue lights.

• Lucas Christopher Nemeth, charged with theft of services, was dismissed without cost.

• Jeremy Dean Sissom, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, had his case bound over to the May term of the Cannon County Grand Jury.
