Two Fail Drug Screens, Sent To Jail



Results from Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday, April 26, are as follows:

• Matthew D. Griffth failed a drug screen in court. His probation was revoked and he was remanded to the custody of the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept. He was appointed an attorney and his case was reset for May 24.

• Rachel Ann Ragan, charged with violation of probation, 3rd offense, failed a drug screen in court. Her probation was revoked and she was ordered to serve 25 days in the county jail. Upon release she will be placed back on probation for 7 months, 24 days. She was also ordered to pay court costs.

• Randall Clark Smotherman pled guilty to DUI 2nd offense and was sentenced to serve 11 months, 29 days in the county jail. He also pled guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to serve six months. He was also ordered to pay court costs and will lose his license for one year. Smotherman also pled guilty to violation of probation and was ordered to serve his entire sentence.

• Tylor B. Fults pled guilty to a charge of driving on a revoked license and was given a six month suspended sentence. He was placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was also ordered to pay a $50 fine and court costs and lost his license for one year. Fults also pled guilty to a charge of failure to appear. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was also ordered to serve eight days in jail.

• Eric Bertrain, pled guilty to a charge of identity theft. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and was ordered to serve eight days in the Cannon County Jail. He was also fined $100 and ordered to pay court costs.

• Noe Israel Campos pled guilty to driving on a suspended license. He was given a six month suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $50 and assessed court costs.

• David Jonathan Miller pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve 40 days in the county jail. Upon release he will be placed back on probation for 10 months, 19 days.

• Raine Marie Patterson pled guilty to violation of probation. Her probation was revoked and she was ordered to serve 40 days in the county jail. Upon release she will be placed back on probation for 10 months, 19 days. She was also ordered to pay court costs.

• Gregory Wayne Hale pled guilty to failure to report an accident. He was ordered to serve his entire sentence. He also pled guilty to violation of probation and was ordered to serve 60 days in the county jail. Upon release he will be placed back on probation for 8 months, 15 days.

• Michael Foster pled guilty to violation of probation and was ordered to serve 30 days in the county jail.

• Jessica Nicole Davis pled guilty to public intoxication and was ordered to serve 25 days in the Cannon County Jail.

• Joshua B. Mullinax had charges of domestic assault dismissed at the request of the affiant. The affiant is also to pay all court costs.

• Phillip Lynn Holt, charged with domestic assault, was dismissed when the alleged victim was unable to be served with a subpoena three times.

• Deborah Hill forfeited a cash bond on a worthless check charged and the case was dismissed.

• Daniel P. Kowalchuk, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, satisfied his obligations to the court. His case was dismissed and his probation terminated.

• Boyd Wayne Willis, Jr., charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, fulfilled his obligation to the court and had his case dismissed and probation terminated.

• Dustin Griswald, charged with violation of probation, fulfilled his obligation to the court and had his case dismissed and probation terminated.

• Jacqueline Lynn Barrett, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, was reset for May 24.

• Michelle Rene Bryant, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense and failure to appear, was reset for June 21.

• Rebecca Paige Bynum, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, reset for June 21.

• Wayne Harvey Chapdelaine, Jr., charged with violation of probation, one count 3rd offense, two counts 4th offense, was reset for May 24.

• Courtne Grayson Elrod, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, two counts, was reset for June 21.

• Regina Farless, charged with worthless check and violation of probation, 1st offense, five counts, was reset for May 24.

• James Cody Harris, charged with violation of probation, 3rd offense, two counts, was reset for May 24.

• Austin Cole Heath, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, was reset for June 21.

• Charles D. Johnson, Jr., charged with filing a false report, was reset for June 21.

• Stephen Patrick Johnson, charged with violation of probation, 2nd offense, was reset for May 3.

• Jonathan Wayne Kestner, charged with violation of probation, 2nd offense, was reset for June 21.

• Amanda Michelle Kisamore, charged violation of probation, 1st offense, was reset for May 24.

• Charles Nicholas May, charged with violation of probation, 2nd and 3rd offenses, was reset for May 24.

• Dustin Matthew Mayo, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, was reset for June 21.

• Jeffrey Dewayne Nichols,charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, was reset for July 19.

• Jason David Ostby, charged with violation of probation, 3rd offense, was reset for June 21.

• Mark Anthony Pless, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, was reset for May 24.

• Donald Wayne Smith, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, was reset for May 3.

• Jessica Walls, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, two counts, was reset for May 24.

• Jonathan B. Womack, charged with violation of probation, 1st offense, and worthless check, was reset for July 21.

• Samantha Briggs, charged with violation of probation, was reset to May 24.

• Haskel Carmack, charged with violation of probation, was reset for May 5 in Circuit Court.
