Two Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Scrap Metal

Two Morrison men are facing charges in connection with the alleged theft of scrap metal from a location on Toy Denny Rd.on June 21.

Arrested were Sean M. Kronnick, 211 Orville Duke Rd., Morrison, and Jimmy Dale Murphy, 178 Orville Duke Rd., Morrison.

Both suspects were charged with Criminal Trespass and Theft Over $1,000 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve McMillen. Murphy was also charged with Driving While License Revoked 5th Offense.

Each is accused of entering the property of the purported victim and allegedly stealing scrap metal valued at over $1,000.

Murphy admitted his license was revoked while being questioned about the theft of the scrap metal.

Bond for Kronnick was set at $8,300. Murphy’s bond was set at $13,000. Initial court date for both me is July 10.
