Tuesday's Inaugural Lions Bowl Pits Lions Against Tigers

The inaugural Cannon Bowl presented by Davenport's Service Station will take place Tuesday night in Woodbury as the Cannon County Middle Grades Lions participate in their very first postseason bowl hosted in their backyard. The Lions have had an incredible season going 5-2 on the season. Their opponent at Fred Schwartz Field Tuesday night is the Macon County Junior High Tigers. Tigers come into the game undefeated after winning the championship of the Middle Tennessee Middle School Football Conference over Fentress County 30-0 in Jamestown last Thursday.
Cannon County Head Football Coach Josh Lance hopes to have a big crowd on hand Tuesday to encourage the Lions to victory. Kickoff is set for 6:30.
