TSSAA Board OKs CCHS's Hoops Request

The TSSAA Board of Control met today in Hermitage.

Among the action taken by the Board was:

Approved Cannon County High School and District 8-AA’s request for an exception to the district basketball format to be allowed to play three basketball games per night during the district tournament.  

They have been playing at White County High School. This year the tournament has to be moved because White County is hosting their district.  

District 8-AA plans to play at Tennessee Tech University. The format adjustment would allow them to work around the University’s scheduled contests.
