Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges



• Kayla B. Hickey, 372 Circle Hill Dr., McMinnville, was charged with simple possession of a Schedule II drug (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license on June 27 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Seth Perry following a traffic stop on Short Mountain Rd. Bond was set at $6,000. Initial court date is July 12.

• William Daniel Labbe, 1600 Laurel Ledge Dr., LaVergne, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on June 23 by Woodbury Police Patrolman John Fesmire following a traffic stop on South McCrary St. During a consensual search of Labbe’s vehicle, Patrolman Fesmire discovered a marijuana grinder, a bowl containing marijuana residence, and a digital scale. A release citation was issued and initial court date as set for Aug. 23.

• Debbie Kronnick, 3357 Iconium Rd., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license on June 25 by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House following a traffic stop on West Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is July 19.

• Cody Ray Parsley, 118 Willow Run, McMinnville, was charged with driving on a suspended license on June 24 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Moss. Parsley was stopped on Blue Hill Rd. for driving 66 mph in a 45 zone. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Aug. 2.

• Randy Glen Ross, 246 Gay Rd., McMinnville, served an arrest warrant on June 23 on a charge of domestic assault. The warrant was obtained by the alleged victim. The victim alleges that on May 31, Ross pushed her, causing her to fall and to hit her head on a stove. Bond for Ross was set at $1,000. Initial court date is Aug. 2.

• Kathryn Elizabeth York, 110 Rose Garden Court, Murfreesboro, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol on June 25 by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House. York failed a PBT test by blowing over the legal limit. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is July 19.

• Tabitha Gray, 502 Tilford Court, Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license on June 23 by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House following a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Dollar Store. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is July 19.

• Woodbury Police Sgt. Lowell Womack received a call to go to the Cannon County Animal Clinic at 124 Massey Drive on June 27 for a theft report. When he arrived he spoke with Dr. Gayle Tate, who stated that sometime overnight someone had taken a gasoline pressure washer, a Homelite weedeater and a box of miscellaneous items that he had sitting outside the building. Dr. Tate stated he noticed them missing as soon as he pulled up to the office. The items were valued at around $600. There are no suspects at this time and the incident is still under investigation.

• Noe Israel Campos, 6216 Dug Hollow Rd., Apt. 20, Bradyville, was charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of the registration and insurance laws on June 17 by Tennessee High Patrol Trooper Donnie Clark. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is July 27.

• Christoper Wayne Gilley, 263 Gnat Hill Rd., Manchester, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding (78/55) on June 18 by Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Donnie Clark. Initial court date is July 26.

• Jerry Gunter, 935 Simpson Rd., Bradyville, was charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of the registration, seatbelt, financial responsibility and child restraint laws on June 13 by Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Donnie Clark. Initial court date is July 26.

• Glenn Richard Smotherman was served an arrest warrant for failure to appear on June 17.

• Robert Mason, 232 McMinnville Hwy., Woodbury, served an arrest warrant on June 27 for violation of probation.

• Maureen Weimer was served a worthless check warrant.
