Okay, first of all, let's find out how many of us are still upholding our New Year's resolutions...I don't heard anything...well, I'll be the first one to say that my exercise program is on hold.

I have the equipment, the place to go work-out and the sense to know that I must uphold my pledge...but, at the same time I am hoping that climbing up and down the loft steps at the Short Mountain Trading Post will do it. I'll keep you posted!! Besides, I just told my husband the other night: "I'm not fat, I can still fit into the earrings that I wore in high school !" I also informed him that "Marriage is like a workshop. The Husband works and the wife shops!"

eeping that in mind, we are still having our humungous post holiday sale!!

Ladies and gents have been in and scooped up some great deals. Once again, weather permitting and not too cold or rainy, we are open Thursday thru Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you wish to call first, give me a call: Savannah at 615-464-7824.

A helpful household tip: I got some roses the other day and they were a bit saggy and came with no fizz powder packet, so I said "why not.." and put them in half a vase of water and half mountain dew. They are the most gorgeous roses I have ever had !! They perked up and are having a good ole time !!

My Grandpa doesn't drink mountain dew, but sometimes he does drink a glass of water just to surprise his liver !! He did tell me that "life is too short, smile while you still have teeth." He's just full of good advice!
Watch for the next exciting event at the Trading Post!! It is our first annual Spring Fling Flea Market Day!! Oh, boy, now we're talking'!

Bring your tables and canopies and all that wonderful stuff you don't need anymore and set up with us on Saturday, April 5! Free set-up and all the money you make is YOURS ! We just want you to join in the fun, have a hotdog and a cold drink and hunt for treasures !! I am announcing this event early, because I know how long it takes to box up things over time and price them.

Please call me, Savannah, and reserve your spot: #615-464-7824. Remember to call me if you have craft items that you would like to feature in our rent-free booths. We also need musicians to call and everyone who wishes to be part of our spring farmer's market on Thursdays (Also free set-up.)

As you can see, The Short Mountain Trading Post is a real "Hub of Activity". Hope to see you soon and have a happy safe week!
Hugs, Savannah
