Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Tuesday, Aug. 30.

The results of some of the cases on the docket included:

• Eliazar Sanchez pled guilty to two counts of aggravated domestic assault. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was ordered to serve 23 days in the Cannon County Jail and released on time served. He was also ordered to pay court costs and to have no direct or indirect contact with the victims. A charge of vandalism was dismissed.

• Daniel Ray Rainey pled guilty to domestic assault. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for 11 months, 15 days. He was sentenced to serve 14 days in the Cannon County Jail, to pay court costs, and to have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family. Rainey also pled guilty to violation of probation and he was placed back on probation for 11 months, 15 days and ordered to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed by Providence Probation Services.

• Timothy Meeks pled guilty to a charge of domestic assault. He was given a partially suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days, ordered to serve 2 days in the Cannon County Jail, released on time served, and placed on probation for 11 months, 27 days. He was also ordered to stay away from the victim, the premises where the incident occurred, and to pay court costs.

• Winford Nile Belcher agreed to an order of retirement for 11 months, 29 days on a charge of domestic assault, subject to good and lawful contact, having no contact with the victim or the victim's family, and payment of the litigation tax.

• Jackie Lynn Bogle agreed to revocation on the charge of violation of probation. He was placed back on probation for 11 months, 29 days and ordered to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed by Providence Probation Services.

• Harry W. Brandon agreed to an order of retirement on the charges of simple possession of Schedule drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Schedule II drugs, reckless endangerment for 11 months, 29 days. He was also ordered to pay court costs and the litigation tax on two of the cases.

• Erik Dillion Buckmeyer, charged with violation of the registration law, was dismissed upon payment of the court costs.

• Jimmy Wayne Chapman, petition for contact (assault conviction), was denied when the petitioner failed to appear.

• Jeffrey Lynn Davis, Jr. agreed to revocation on the charge of violation of probation. He was ordered to serve 14 days in the Cannon County Jail, was placed back on probation for 11 months, 29 days and ordered to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed by Providence Probation Services.

• Jeremy Wayne Duke, charged with driving on a suspended license, failed to appear and a Capias was issued for his arrest.

• Katie Jo Grider pled guilty to DUI 1st offense. A sentencing hearing was set for Nov. 29. Her driver's license was revoked for one year. A charge of violation of the seatbelt law was reset for Nov. 29.

• Gretchen Lee Hall pled guilty to violation of the open container law and was fined $25 and assessed court costs. A charge of violation of the financial responsibility law was dismissed without cost.

• Elisha James Jenkins agreed to revocation on the charge of violation of probation. He was ordered to serve his original sentence of 11 months, 29 days and given credit for time served. A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 20 on the charges of reckless driving, felony evading arrest, misuse of registration, littering, speeding, violation of the seatbelt, traffic device, insurance and registration laws.

• Jeremy Lee Johnson pled guilty to driving on a revoked license 3^rd offense. He was given a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was also fined $100, assessed court costs, and had his driver’s license revoked for one year. Charges of financial responsibility law violation and speeding were dismissed.

• Michael Paul Lowery pled guilty to violation of the child restraint device law. He was fined $2 and assessed court costs. He also pled guilty to violation of the seatbelt law and netted a $10 fine. A charge of violation of the financial responsibility law was dismissed without cost.

• Wayne D. Manier agreed to revocation on the charge of violation of probation. He was ordered to serve his original sentence and his probation was extended 6 months. He was ordered to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed by Providence Probation Services.

• Richard McLaughlin, charged with harassment, failed to appear. A Capias was issued for his arrest.

• Cassi Nicole Morton agreed to revocation on a charge of violation of probation. She was sentence to serve 30 days in the Cannon County Jail and was released on time served.

• Nichole D. Muncey agreed to revocation on the charge of violation of probation. She was sentenced to serve 36 days in the Cannon County Jail and released on time served. She was placed back on probation for 10 months, 23 days and ordered to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed by Providence Probation Services.

• Paul Warren Neilson had a charge of violation of probation dismissed upon payment of the cost of a drug screen.

• Kristina L. Pitts admitted to guilt on a charge of phone harassment. She agreed to a 6 months order of retirement, subject to good and lawful conduct, and was ordered to pay the litigation tax within 30 days.

• Michelle Lynn Pyron (Alexander) agreed to revocation on a charge of violation of probation. Her probation was extended 15 months and she was ordered to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed by Providence Probation Services.

• James Lee Rayburn pled guilty to driving on a revoked license 4^th offense. A sentencing was set for Jan. 7, 2012. Charges of opener container and insurance law violations and failure to yield were reset for that date.

• Golden Arnold Roberson, charged with violation of probation and public intoxication, was reset for Sept. 6.

• Mary Ann Thomason agreed to a 6 month order of retirement on a charge of dogs at large and to pay the litigation tax.

• Christopher A. Turley agreed to revocation on a charge of violation of probation. He was sentenced to serve 23 days in the Cannon County Jail and given credit for time served. Upon release he will be placed back on probation for 9 months. He was also ordered to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed by Providence Probation Services.

• Tina Louise Weaver pled guilty to violation of the financial responsibility law and was fined $100.

• Jonathan Raymond Womack failed to appear on charges of worthless check and violation of probation and a Capias was issued for his arrest.

• Jerry Dean Robinson agreed to an order to retirement for 11 months, 29 days on two worthless check charges. He agreed to pay restitution and report to Providence Probation Services once per month.

James Cody Harris, charged with violation of probation, was reset for Sept. 20.

Andrew Scott Asbury, charged with violation of probation, was appointed an attorney and the case was reset for Sept. 27.

Ronald Glenn Bedwell, Jr., charged wih aggravated assault and violation of probation, was reset for Sept. 6.

James Matthew Beecham, charged with violation of probation, was appointed the public defender and the case was reset for Sept. 20.

Becky Lee Bess, charged with violation of probation, was appointed the public defender, assessed an administrative fee of $25, and reset for Sept. 27.

Walter Larry Bess, charged with violation of probation, was reset for Sept. 21.

Noe Israel Campos, charged with driving on a suspended license 3rd offense, registration law violation, financial responsibility law violation, violation of probation, was reset for Sept. 27.

Justin Ross Deaton, charged with violation of probation, was reset for Sept. 27.

Charles D. Johnson, Jr., charged with violation of the financial responsibility law and seatbelt law violation 3rd offense, was reset for Sept. 6.

Angela Jennifer Markum was appointed the public defender on charges of driving on a revoked license and violation of probation and assessed an administrative fee of $25. The case was reset for Sept. 27.

Marlin Christopher Prater, charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband, possession of a Legend drug and violation of probation, was reset for Sept. 27.
