Christmas Tour of Homes
The Woodbury Lions Club is seeking homes for the annual Christmas Tour of Homes to be held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. If you are interested in being on the tour, please call Bill Smith at 563-5337 or Sue Patrick at 563-1328. Please advise no later than Nov. 8, 2013.

Lions Club Coats for Cannon
The Woodbury Lions Club is sponsoring a community project, “Coats for Cannon.” We are collected coats at Sue H. Patrick CPA’s office at 109 Lester St., Woodbury. We ask that coats be clean and on hangers. All sizes and types will be distributed to the public on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Woodbury Lions Club Building on Lehman Street from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Verification of name and a local address will be required. Parents and grandparents need to bring the children to obtain a coat. If you have questions call Sue Patrick at 563-1328.

The Art of Russel Mobley
The award-winning photographs of the late photojournalist Russel Mobley will be on exhibit at the Arts Center of Cannon County through Nov. 27. The arts center is located at 1424 John Bragg Highway. Phone: 563-2787.

Bundle Up on Short Mountain
Short Mountain Trading Post is extending their premiere "Bundle-Up Sale" to Nov. 7-9 (Thursday thru Saturday) due to the huge amount of winter clothing items available and to the great response to last week end's sale! For one or two dollars, you can purchase brand name sweaters, vests, jackets, coats, scarves, shoes, boots and purses in excellent condition.

Sunday Lunch “Soaring with Shawn” November 10
A Chicken and Dressing dinner that consists of Chicken dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn and rolls, dessert and drink will be served on Sunday, November 10th - 11:30 - 3:00 at The Moonlite Drive In for Shawn Petro, son of Gerald and Margie Petro, who is currently undergoing aggressive chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer.
