Tennessee Sales Tax Holiday Weekend Is Upon Us

The Tennessee Sales Tax Holiday has officially begun. Kicked off this (Friday) morning the tax free weekend will continue until 11:59 p.m Sunday July 28th.
During this weekend certain items such as clothes, computers and school supplies may be purchased tax free.

General apparel that costs $100 or less per item (shirts, pants, jackets, socks, shoes, dresses etc) qualifies.

Items that are normally sold together such as shoes, cannot be split up to stay beneath the $100 threshold.

Computers with a purchase price of $1500 or less including laptops and ipads can be purchased tax free.
Computer supplies and printers are not exempt from sales tax.
