A TDOT salt truck overturned on Short Mountain Rd. on Friday night, shutting down the road for about three hours, according to the Cannon County Emergency Management Agency. A passenger, TDOT worker Ashley Caffey, was transported to Murfreesboro and then Nashville hospitals with knee and wrist injuries, according to unconfirmed reports. The driver was not injured.
