Suspect charged in series of auto burglaries

Break-in Arrest Travis Dewayne Lowe was charged with burglary, theft over $1,000, and vandalism over $1,000 in connection with a series of auto break-ins on Old Prospect Road. Several of the items were recovered including handcuffs, a GPS and a Kenwood police-style radio.
Domestic Assault John LeClaire was arrested on aggravated domestic assault, evading arrest, resisting arrest and retaliation for past action charges following an incident on Short Mountain Road. LeClaire was accused of physically assaulting a woman, who sustained a deep laceration over her right eye. After a lengthy search of a home and a barn, Deputy Mike Hainey discovered LeClaire laying face-down behind a large clump of grass in a nearby pasture. He was handcuffed and ordered to walk back to a patrol car. "When I opened the rear door of my patrol car to place John LeClaire inside, he suddenly pushed backward against me, necessitating me to physically force him into the backseat," Hainey reported.
Donkey in the road Jessie Ferrell was charged with allowing livestock at large following a complaint from a neighbor who found his donkey in the complainant's yard. The citation was issued due to the numerous calls and complaints over the past few months.
Probation violation Malia Suzanne Jernigan was charged with a violation of probation.
WOODBURY POLICE Promotion of Meth Brittany L. Medley was charged with promotion of methamphetamine manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia after Patrolman Sebastian Krauss discovered items including muratic acid and lithium batteries in her vehicle. A hearing is set for Nov. 11.
DUI James Hilton Jones was charged with DUI following a traffic stop by Patrolman Tracey Stoetzel. A hearing is set for Nov. 11.
Driving on a revoked June Barrett was charged with driving on a revoked license by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for Nov. 11. Alex Duran was charged with driving without a license and violation of financial responsibility by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for Nov. 11.
Disorderly conduct Hazel Leigh Goforth was charged with disorderly conduct at the Stones River Hospital Emergency Room by Assistant Chief Lowell Womack. A hearing is set for Nov. 11.
Theft Randy Alan Nowlin was charged with the theft of $736 dollars from Co-Op Market. Making the arrest was Patrolman Jimmy Hayes. A hearing is set for Nov. 11 in General Sessions Court.
Driving on a Revoked Henry Davidson was charged with driving on a revoked license and with violating the financial responsibility law by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for Nov. 11.
