Susie Robinson Kennedy age 94, passed away on January 3, 2017 at St. Thomas Stones River Hospital. She was a native of Cannon County and an assistant to the Post Master. She was also a homemaker. Susie was a member of the Church of Christ since she was a little girl. She attended Auburntown Church of Christ and also East Main Church of Christ in Murfreesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Oval Robinson and Fannie Hawkins Robinson; husband, Giles Wendell Kennedy; brothers and sisters, Raymond, Noama, Ruth and Myrt. She is survived by her son, Gregory G. Kennedy; daughter, Jann (Padge) Kennedy Beasley; grandchildren, Allen Chamberlain, Ande Crenshaw, Robin Kennedy, Lee Kennedy and Lynn Kennedy; four-great-grandchildren, Kali Chamberlain, Jami Chamberlain, Taylor Spain, Leeah Crenshaw; one great-great-grandchild, Phoebe Chamberlain.

Visitation with the family will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

A chapel service will be 12:00 P.M. Friday at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home with David Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Donnell Cemetery in Auburntown, TN.
