Spring Sports Update For March 28th



Andrew Alexander gave up just one hit in four innings pitched as the Cannon County Lions Middle School Baseball team put up a 7-0 win over the Community Vikings in game one of a doubleheader in Woodbury Wednesday night. Levi Paxson went two-for-three at the plate in the second game but Community split the double header with a 7-3 win in the night cap.

Cannon County Lions High School Varsity got an 11-9 win over Cascade Wednesday night Ben Kauffman and Logan Fritts drove in two runs each as the Lions avenged a 13-6 loss from Monday.

Thursday March 28th schedule has the Cannon County Middle School Lionettes traveling to Fayetteville for a Duck River Valley Conference game. First pitch is set for 5:00.
Cannon County High School Lionettes softball will host Watertown today in a game at 5:00.

Cannon County tennis is heading to Watertown today for a series of matches starting at 3:30.

The three day High School Baseball Classic starts today as the Cannon County Lions host Brooks High School out of Alabama. Game today starts at 2:00
