Space Program Presentation At Library June 15

Gary is an engineering analyst and scientist from Arnold Engineering Development Center’s High Temperature Laboratory. The laboratory has assisted NASA with reentry materials testing for the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle and the Mars Science Laboratory. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics from Tennessee Technology University in 2005. His interests include astronomy, computer programming, theoretical physics, and orbital mechanics. He is a licensed professional engineer and is currently working toward a Master of Science degree in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics from the University of Tennessee Space Institute. Gary’s program will be presented in the meeting room on the lower level of the library. His presentation will be suitable for all ages. Please join us at the library for this special treat.
