THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

 

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

 As a cold front moves across Middle Tennessee today, a dusting to around half of an inch of total snowfall accumulation will be possible for locations mainly along and north of Interstate 40 west of the Upper Cumberland regional and across southern portions of the Cumberland Plateau region through tonight.

 Northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph are expected behind the front from this afternoon into this evening.

 Friday through Wednesday

 On Sunday, a very strong cold front will move across Middle Tennessee on Sunday. Rain developing ahead of the front will likely change to snow late Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. Although still uncertain, snow accumulations between one half to one inch with locally higher amounts in higher elevations may be possible.

 

Behind the front, very cold air will spread across Middle Tennessee for Monday and Tuesday. Low temperatures in the single digits with highs only in the teens and 20s appear possible.
