Shannon Mayne Young

Shannon Mayne Young, 40, passed away Monday, June 01, 2015 at Vanderbilt Hospital. He was a native of Cannon Co.

He is survived by his parents, Red & Shirley Mears Young of Woodbury; Children: Amy Young & Logan Young both of Woodbury;Bubbie of: Keisha Young (Jeremy Harnish) of Woodbury; Niece & Nephew: Luschin and Lavada Harnish both of Woodbury; Best Friends: Dennis Ramsey & Doug Fennell. Several aunts & uncles also survive.

He was a welder and loved to be outdoors doing almost anything but he loved to fish and ride four wheelers. Above everything else, he was a wonderful son, father, Bubbie and friend.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, June 03, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dennis Ramsey, Doug Fennell, Doug Harrison, Jeremy Harnish, Ivan Fisher, Jason Pitts. Visitation with the family will be from 10 am until 9 pm, Tuesday, June 02, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help his family with funeral expenses.
