Ms. Ruby Irene Hollis, age 69, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at her home in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A native of Cannon County, she was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Scott and Huey Scott of McMinnville; two sisters, Ruth Sweeney and Marie Ferrell of Woodbury; and a brother, Kenneth Hollis of Woodbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Martin Hollis and Mammie Elizabeth Hollis, and a sister, Rachel Kitty.
