Services for Ruby Hollis, 84, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. David Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Jones Chapel Community.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

She died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 at St. Thomas Rutherford. She was a native of Tracy City, TN.

Survivors include her lifelong companion, Floyd D. Bogle of Murfreesboro; children, Leroy Watkins of Mt. Juliet, Joyce (Gene) Mason of Woodbury and Jessie (Betty) Dykes of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Lonnie, Dustin, Ashley Nicole and Callie Watkins, Kristi Davenport, Danny and Steve Dykes; and her sister, Hazel Sissom of Woodbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Fannie Slatton Dykes, siblings, Paul, Lula and Martha Dykes and grandson, William Michael Wilson.

She was a member of the Baptist Church and was a nurse at Central State, Good Samaritan, Stones River Hospitals and Community Care Nursing Home.
