Lieutenant Commander Robert L. Page was born in Warren Co., TN and passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 suddenly in San Diego, CA. where he was on active duty with the United States Navy. He was 46.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Anderson Page of Bradyville; 2 children, Lloyd Allen Page of Virginia Beach, Madeline Leann Page of Ben, OR.; Siblings, Regina Page (John David) Moore of Memphis, TN. and James Randal (Tammy) Page of Bradyville. 4 nephews, 2 nieces, many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Everette Page.

Mr. Page graduated from Cannon Co. High School in May of 1988 and entered the U.S. Navy attending basic training in Orlando, FL. In October 1990. He completed Electronics Technician "A" School and "C" school for NAVMACS and reported to his first duty assignment onboard USS SCOTT (DDG 995). He completed several Electronic Technician "C" schools and advanced to Petty Officer First Class in 1998. He was commissioned to Ensign under the LDO program in October 2001.

Lieutenant Commander Page's previous assignments include: Electronics Technician onboard USS SCOTT (DDG 995), MCMROTCREW ALFA serving onboard USS GLADIATOR (MCM 11) and USS ARDENT (MCM 12), USS GONZALEZ (DDG 66); served as Electronics Material Officer (EMO) onboard USS O'BRIEN (DD 975), USS ANZIO (CG 68), USS ASHLAND (LSD 48); and Combat Systems Maintenance Officer (CSMO) onboard USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73). Shore commands include: Tech Rep at FTSCLANT Norfolk, Budget Officer for NCSA Sector Norfolk (NATO), and Assistance Director Combat Systems Department at ATG Norfolk.

His personal awards include the Joint Services Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (Four awards), Navy Achievement Medal (Five awards), the 1999 Naval Academy Class of 1966 leadership awards, and various other service and campaign medals. His significant qualifications include Office of the Deck (OOD), Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Tactical Action Officer (TAO) and Command Duty Officer (CDO).

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday, November 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Wade Campbell officiating. Full Military Honors will follow in the Centertown Cemetery with members of the United States Navy serving as pallbearers. Visitation with his family will be from 4 pm until 8 pm Thursday, November 17, 2016.
