REP. DIANE BLACK

Cannon County's representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Sixth District Congressman Diane Black, was in Woodbury Thursday visiting with several groups.

One of the gatherings she met with was a meeting of the Cannon County Jobs Task Force held at the courthouse.

Rep. Black said one of the ways the federal government can assist Cannon County in attracting jobs was to limit the rules and regulations it imposes on businesses, which would help make the country and county more business friendly.

Other meetings Rep. Black spoke attended were held at the Cannon County Senior Center, the Cannon County Farm Bureau, the Cannon County American Legion (at the Senior Center) and a meeting of the Cannon County Republican Party at the courthouse.
