The 32nd annual “Red Apple Days and Homecoming” will be held Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st at C.S. Hawkins Park in Auburntown.
The activities get underway Friday at 5:00 P.M. and continue through 8:45 P.M. with Gospel groups entertaining the large crowd expected to attend.
Saturday morning’s activities begin at 7:30 A.M. with the 5K Race and the Fun Race at 8:00 A.M. At 9:30 A.M. children’s games will be held in the C.S. Hawkins Park followed by the Red Apple Day Parade at 12 noon.
Stage shows will begin at 1:00 P.M. and continue through 8:00 P.M. with an assortment of musical groups performing.
The Auburn Lions Club will hold their Fish and Shrimp Fry all day on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
Everyone is invited to bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the activities. Yard sales will be held throughout the town with lots of arts, crafts and fun booths.
