Ray Olton Basham

Ray Olton Basham, 72, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Stones River Hospital E/R following an extended illness. He was a native of Cannon Co.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Darlene Basham of Woodbury; Daughters, Sandra (Mike) Haggard of McMinnville and Sonya (Jerry) Cathey of Waverly; Step-Son, Chuck (Linda) McCormick of Manchester; Granddaughter, April (Mike) Floyd;

Grandsons, Cody Cathey & Kyle (Monica) Cathey; Great Grandsons, Dakota & Jacob Floyd; Brother, Ronald (Cindy) Basham of Woodbury and sister-in-law, Judy Basham of Woodbury.

Mr. Basham was preceded in death by his parents: Ray & Maude Parker Basham; his brothers, Harold Lawton Basham & Jerry Basham.

He was an Electrical Industrial Maintenance worker at Batesville Casket Company. Olton loved to fish and camp.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Haggard & Bro. Tommy Womack officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Friday, October 27, 2016 from 4 pm until 9 pm.
