The week of July 17th, youth members of Prosperity Baptist Church took a piece of New York City to Copper Basin which is found near the junctions of Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia.

It covers about 60,000 acres, most of which lie in Polk County, Tennessee.  A small area extends into Fannin County, Georgia.

The youth were never idle, always working as they prepared and fed supper to families who attended each night’s revival services and breakfast to each who attended the “Big Apple Adventure” Vacation Bible School.

The last day was spent helping each school child select school supplies to fill the back packs given to them. An estimated 300 jars of peanut butter were taken with the group to give out to families.

One of the days, the group traveled to Murphy, NC, where they were awed by the Fields of the Wood Bible Park, the main attraction being the Ten Commandments “written in stone” on the side of a hill.
